Nonna Balm
I have been making balm for many more years than I have been a Nonna ( Nonna is the Italian word for Grandmother ) but since I have been a Nonna, my balm has really come into its own. I am proud to say that my grandchildren have always had wonderful skin and have been mercifully spared from cradle cap, slap cheek and nappy rash. I am not going to claim complete responsibility for this but I do believe that the fact that they have only ever had my balm and jojoba oil on their skin has to be more than partly to thank. Multi-purpose, organic, vegan & fragrance free balm for use from newborn to very old. I have made many different variations of my balm over the years. All have been 100% natural and as organic as possible. Sometimes they go grainy, sometimes they melt and sometimes they are too hard! Such is the way with natural products. This formulation I have to admit to getting some help with and the addition of arrowroot seems to keep it stable. This stability allows me to offer it to a wider audience and not just my small following, family and close friends. |
