Tea tree is sometimes known as Ti Tree. It is one of the most extensively researched and provenly effective essential oils. It has a long history of use by the Aboriginal people of Australia where it grows prolifically. During the second world war, Tea tree was a general issue in Australian soldiers back packs as it has such wide and varied medicinal uses. It is unusual in that it is affective agains all three infectious categories - bacteria, fungi and viruses. It is a powerful immuno-stimulant, encouraging the body’s immune system to fight any of these organisms with great effect.
Tea tree essential oil can be used sparingly in neat form on spots, cuts, stings and at the first sign of cold sores. I like to alternate it with lemon essential oil used neat to treat warts and verrucas. It is also perfect combined with oils such as eucalyptus and peppermint, diluted into base oils for cold and flu blends.
In skincare Tea tree is good for oily and troublesome skin types used in oil blends and in washes.

DIRECTIONS.
6 drops in a bath or vaporisor or 5 drops diluted in 10ml of vegetable oil for massage.
For external use only. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not get in eyes. Flammable. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.

We have to protect the glass during transit so we use acid free tissue paper in blue which looks beautiful. We can also add a handwritten card if you are sending as a gift. Simply mention the words you require in NOTES BOX when you check out.
